Jerusalem Explorations

The weather is hot but not unbearable, and we've now begun our explorations. We had a great tour outside the walled city this afternoon. Tomorrow we'll divide into four groups to ramble through the four quarters in depth after an introductory lecture in the morning. We all took lots of pictures this afternoon and will post some as soon as possible.

The AC isn't working at St. George's, and we don't get much of a breeze, but they did bring us a fan which helps some. The food is very good here, and we're very comfortable except for the lack of AC.

It seems that most of us haven't quite adjusted to this time zone yet. We discovered that we all woke up for several hours during the night. Some went back to sleep eventually, but others just got up very early. I hope after tonight we'll be fully in synch with Jerusalem time.
